What SameFold is
SameFold is an app that helps two people write down their positions on a decision, see one shared picture of where they agree and differ, and record what they decided. The picture is produced by a language model from what you both wrote.
What it is not
SameFold is not therapy, counselling, medical care, legal advice or financial advice, and it does not replace any of them. It does not decide for you and it does not take a side. The picture can be wrong, incomplete or unhelpful, and you are responsible for the decisions you make. If you or someone near you is in danger, contact your local emergency number or the helpline the app shows.
Your content
What you write is yours. You give us only the permission needed to process it for the picture, as described in the privacy policy. You are responsible for what you write and for not writing about other people in ways you have no right to.
Purchases
Decisions are sold through the App Store. There is no free trial. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may change; a change never affects what you already bought. Subscriptions renew until cancelled in your Apple account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's rules; if you ask Apple for one, we do not contest it.
A purchase entitles one household to open a number of decisions. Once a decision is open it stays open for as long as you need it. Your partner does not need to pay to take part.
Availability
We aim to keep the service running but do not promise it will always be available. If a picture cannot be produced because of a fault on our side, the decision is not counted against your plan.
Acceptable use
Do not use SameFold to harm, harass or deceive anyone, to try to extract data about other users, or to interfere with the service. We may refuse service to a device that does this.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, SameFold is provided as it is, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.
Changes
If these terms change, the date above changes. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
